    Hi ladies and gents!

I know someone here will be able to help me!

So, I am working on a quilt for a customer, and they are getting quite anxious! So I need to get it done soon.
However, regardless of me checking my calculations OVER and OVER again, it appears that I did NOT order enough fabric.

You would think, "ok, no problem, just order more!".

I would, however, Connecting Threads doesn't have the main color anymore!!! It's a Mirage fabric, but that particular color is not on their website.

So, I have now come up with the idea of creating some sort of center piece, maybe paper pieced, so that I can just use the blocks I have to sort of border that center piece.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a center block that would work well with the dutchman's puzzle block?

I need your help and I need it fast!!

    Thanks Ladies and Gents!!!!

I don't know how big your centerpiece needs to be ...

I suggest a large star, like the carpenters wheel. It has triangles like the dutchman puzzle.

call them. they might be able to scrounge some up from their stock.

worth a try and nothing to lose.

Post a picture of the fabric here maybe someone has some they would part with. It wouldn't hurt to at least try. Good luck.

Can you post a pic of the fabric? Title it ISO this fabric. Many times someone will have it in their stash. Good Luck!

you could try ebay to but any block you come up with will look good with that block.

If the fabric were from Northcott, they have a reference on their site where you can look up which store ordered what. Not sure if other companies do that.

    Fox & geese at quilterscache

you will have to enlarge the pattern to fit your block size.
