Well, we have had a squirrel before this. A few years ago a nasty little squirrel climbed up into my attic and then chewed a hole in my sewing room ceiling, came down, and chewed all of my sewing machine cords!! Then it ate lots of fabric, presumably taking some back with it because there was lots missing, and then ate the rice bags my DD was working on. I was furious. It cost me $40/cord to replace them and I can't even count the fabrics.

Sounds like the birds I get in my dryer vent periodically. DH never believes me when I tell him they are in there until he goes into the room for something else. No BB solution for that one though. Don't know what he does but at least they're gone till the next time.
