How terrific! I loved that quilt the first time I saw it, but I love the story even more. I think this needs to be in a big quilting magazine now. It's a quilt anybody would be proud of.

I have posted previously about DH's masterpiece quilt with over 100,000 pieces.

It is in the new issue of Stroke Connection magazine that you can read online.

Thank you so much for sharing his story with us. I read the whole thing twice. And his picture is just fine. What a survivor story. I am so proud of you both.
I thought Cathy MIller, the singing quilter's., 1" sq quilts were awesome......his really are stupendous...
I cannot believe the size in those squares. Awesome quilt and story. Hugs to you both. Happy HOlidays.

WOW -- thanks for sharing your hubby's story!! It is wonderful to know that courage and determination can bring someone back from what could have been a totally disabilitating stroke. The story of the quilt is also amazing!! I cannot even imagine making a quilt with pieces that small, let alone with that number of pieces.
Congratulations to you both!!!

That's such an inspiring story, and just in time for Christmas. I remember reading your original thread about the quilt and being so amazed. Best wishes to you and your husband on this wonderful achievement and also on his recovery.
