    It means you can't get the discount when purchasing a gift card, not that you can't get the discount when using a gift card. I got a JoAnn gift card for Christmas too and I don't buy anything at JoAnns without coupons. I also got a really cute tote bag with a picture of an old Singer on it and for my big gift I got a Snoopy embroidery machine.

    I got Electric Quilt 7!!! I will design many, many beautiful quilts that I probably won't ever make, but it will be fun. Can't wait to try it!

    What about a Olfa rotating cutting mat? I purchased one at JoAnn's with a 50% coupon this week!! Can't wait t use it this week.

    My wonderful son bought me a quilt kit I had been longing for!!! What a wonderful surprise.....and a wonderful son! Then......he cooked Christmas dinner and cleaned the kitchen. Truly, I am blessed!!

    I got big $$$ for Christmas and will be buying me a new rotary cutter and a ruler I have been wanting for a start. Don't know until I get to the quilt shop what else I might "need" lol

    I got a ruler (from mother in law) and a quilting book (from my daughter). The book was dedicated to borders and finishes and gave me lots of new ideas.

    my hubby got me a couple hundred dollar gift certs for my LQS and stocking stuffers... 2 pair of Karen Buckley scissors, thread, pins and binding clips (which I have always wanted). job well done! all will be put to good use.

    From dear daughter: book Sunday Morning Quilts. Instructions for "modern" quilts. organization tips. etc. I think she wants me to expand my horizons just a bit. Dear son gave gift certificate to JAF. I'm set for the year, very grateful and hope everyone has a blessed holiday season.
