    Of course you did the right thing, always inspired by photos of quilts, and a stash dosen't just have to be fabric, I have Mom's Quilt Mag's from the mid 70's, have been known to go thru for some ideas! :)

    I have a small book that is for beginner quilters and I still look at it if I have a problem. I still am trying new things and need help! Books are great.

    Thank you all. I have a bag (tote) that I am going to stock up with embroidery thread, needles, small scissors, an embroidery hoop and some of the quilt pcs. that I want to get started on. Then I can do some in the car when driving, at the drs. office etc. (I do that with my crocheting) If I can get my son to help me I will post the squares that I found and want to work on. I will keep in touch and thanks again. I have some on my facebook page but don't know how to put them here. I'm kinda technologically deficient. :wink:

    Please share your work! I would love to see your blocks. Yes, Pat's books are great! You will learn a lot from her book. Congratulations on a great purchase.
