Unhappy Did I make a HUGE Mistake

After I finished sewing my quilt top, I realized that the dark gray fabric along the outside of the blocks has a flower design in it. Did I make a HUGE mistake?

I wouldn't worry about it even if this quilt is for a guy. You did a real nice job with the fabric you selected.

    I don't think so.

The design is linear - so it "goes" with the other fabrics.

I do understand your questioning that choice, though.

Looks just fine and dandy to me. I like the fabric you picked out and how you put it together. The flowers are very subtle and a non sewing man isn't likely to zero in on them.

If he does it will likely be in remembrance of the lovely lady who made him the quilt and bring a smile to his face as he bundles up in it.

It's beautiful! I sure don't think the fabric is a mistake. The flowers are very subtle.
