Is there a reason people like the tape better than the guide that comes with the walking foot? I'm using that instead. It's coming along.

This is adorable! I love the coffee cup and background fabric choices. If you are worried about the batting, maybe do an echo stitch around the mugs about 1/2" - 1" from the existing stitch and use a thread color that won't stand out.

I'm not experienced enough to advise you on the quilting, but I want to tell you that I love your quilt. I think you did a great job.

Love the quilt and I do agree that maybe some additional quilting would add to it.

Your quilt is lovely. I would do one more echo quilting around each mug. You put a lot of time & effort into making the quilt and it would be a shame to have the batting shift or bunch up. Better safe then sorry.

You were brave to do a king size quilt for your first project. I think it's a beautiful quilt!!!

This is adorable! A little more echo quilting should do it.

first of all i LOVE IT . where did you find the cup i need to get it. i love all tea, coffee things i think it is amazing. i too recently made a quilt where i felt i had the same problem. and i didn't have the answer either. i had to ask here as well. so hopefully we both get some good information as to what to do. but i hope you can help me by letting me know where you got those beautiful mugs at. thank you, huntersgrammie, aka rachelle
