I have been trying to shop my stash first. (I decided I didn't need to have many more of those "OMG I can't believe I did that," days.) Then only filling in if I need to. I am getting more creative with what I have. Some of the fabrics were given to me so I didn't have an idea in mind when I received them. Some of them are a creative challenge.

I know what you mean. I was in a quilt shop and found a pattern for a bag I just loved. Bought the pattern and the fabric and cost me $65.00. Anyway, made the bag and love it so I guess it is worth the price.
