dark brown sounds like an excellent idea to me.

I generally plan the whole quilt using QuiltPro before I start, which saves a lot of frustration later and allows me to know just how much I need of everything.

I like Dunster's idea of different colors for the sashing, like all pastels.
But my idea is to sash each block with a narrow border of a color that goes with it. This could be all lighter colors or all darker colors. Then put it together with sashing: Dark if you used light frames, and light to white if you used dark frames. I've seen some like this and loved them.

I would also suggest a dark color for the sashing, that should make it pop. Your blocks are beautiful, by the way

Rose: Love what you did. What a marvelous way to audition possibilities. I have a lot of fun with my EQ but your skills leave me in the dust.

IMO, on point almost always looks better.

I liked Karen K's idea, but wanted to see what it would look like with the blocks, so took the liberty of importing the pictures into Windows Paint and putting them together. The other version is just some playing around I did with the program to illustrate how Paint can be useful in planning at this stage. It could be neater, and definitely could have other color choices, but I hope it's okay for illustration purposes. When you want to debut a particular fabric, you can take a picture of it and pick up at least the main color with the eye dropper tool in paint. Your blocks are very nice and will make a great quilt.
Wow, the reds are fantastic-----------white is really dull

I'm thinking maybe an espresso brown? Or dark charcoal gray. I have too many pets and husband(s) for white anything! Lol
