    This is what works for me when webbing a top ... and pressing!

    I web the whole top, then put it on my design wall.
    Check to make sure all blocks are where they should be ... and right way up.

    Then I carefully snip the joins from one row to the next, all the way across each row.
    Press each row, taking care that the seams are pressed in the direction they should be.
    Put each row back on design wall, til all are done.
    Double check again that all are in the correct position ... and that I have not flipped a row around end for end or in a different row.

    Then join the rows together.

    Hope this works for you.
