    Default Digital Print?

Need help. What is a digital print? I know it can be used in quilts. My questions are; are digital prints durable? Can they be washed multiple times? Do they hold up over time?

Anything else I should know? TIA

    Linda

i think if you want to make quilts with new fabric there will be a lot of digitally printrd fabric in them. for the first time in at least 10 years i was in a lot of quilt shops this spring. a nonexperts opinion? at least 1/3 of the print bolts were digital across all lines. current reality. better or worse i couldnt say. but there have always been quality differences in greige goods, hence the ever popular arguements for and against chains vs quilt shops.

and the industry moves quickly so there is always new designs in shops so what might have been true 5 years ago about digital prints doesnt necessarily prove true today.

make a 2' square pieced quilt and trrow it ic the wash with your towels for a couple of monyhs. then report back...

I’ve been told that Moda is not doing them at present. Did you happen to notice Moda in particular at your LQS? Just curious.
