I've been hemming and hawing all day as to whether I should unsew the fmq on this mini tree of life. I was thinking that I'll just find a red marker to color the white threads. After all, this won't be washed. What say y'all?

I missed staying in the white space

Looks fine to me. I use the 25 mile rule...if you hang it out and drive by it 25 mph and don't see the mistake then it is not there, if you can see it then fix the mistake.

I have a set of about 3 dozen different colored Sharpies for just this very thing. You can even wash after using them and the color stays. I say go for it!!

Ditto to the above! Go the permanent red pen route unless you're planning on putting the piece in a show/competition. Then.. I might tug it out.

I "cheat" with pens all the time! Have not had the quilt police at my door yet...

The distance theme may not work on a mimi quilt 'cause people get up close to look at mini quilts, at least I do. I would have to repair it 'cause a close look would show up those stitches, even if colored over. This probably isn't what you want to hear but on a small quilt every little glitch shows.
