I have to agree this is my favorite spot to be, I always liked Bob Ross saying Happy Little Accident.

    No offence.

I think a section for quilter's secrets is a terrific idea - moderators - what do you think??

I think most of us never thought of our little adaptations as 'dirty little secrets', but I guess if you didn't think of them, it could appear to be 'secrets', even if they are not. I love the way we all share openly with each other. I wish the world could learn that from us.

Some of us who have sewn for 55 years (more or less) tend to forget all the little tricks we learned along the way. We treat them as natural, and forget to mention them. I learn something new every time I read something on this board....like, I've never thought to use glue or glue sticks to hold a seam together while I sew it. I know I've heard it before, but never used it....but there are dozens of times when it would have save me a bunch of froggy stitching (rip-it, rip-it).

I'm addicted to this board... the wealth of information I find on this board is so helpful ... I find I have so much to learn... I am on my own learning except for a few classes taken and of coarse the TV shows ... so the tips and ideas and of coarse the fabulous amount of quilts being shown here ... just make me want to learn more and be able to so many new things...
