I hope that this doesn't sound critical, but all you really need is a pen and paper. Why not just make a sketch of the designs you like or print a paper copy of pictures of things you might want to try? Also, many of the videos have a link to their websites with written directions you could print out.

Have you checked your local library yet? Some libraries are willing to order new books if they don't have what you need.
(Just shooting out an idea here, nothing you probably haven't thought of.)

Ha! I was looking through my collection of quilt photos...and there was this "Twisted Four Patch" which is just an older name for "Disappearing Four Patch!" I'm sure it wasn't made with precuts, the results are the same. Isn't there a saying..."Nothing old is new again?"

I noticed that there are some disappearing quilt patterns have pdf files that can be downloaded and printed out. There is a free six page pdf for D9P with different layouts at http://media.rainpos.com/1008/010082...70Disappearing Nine Patch.pdf
A pattern for $10 "Disappearing Block Sampler Quilt" that could probably be printed out at https://questioningquilter.com/produ...quilt-pattern/
Then there is a book "Disappearing Nine-Patch Quilts" for $50.96 at https://www.amazon.com/Disappearing-.../dp/1590120078

I enjoyed making this quilt. It works well with pre-cuts.
