    What do you think about making the blocks 6 inches a piece to show the fabric better?

    That would be a total of 9 blocks total 18 inches.

    Why not? Some fabrics are too gorgeous to cut up. Try one block & let us see please!

    if you are cutting the squares 6 inches, your finished size block will be 16.5 inches

    you can cut your pieces any size you want

    I was going to do yellow for the 4 squares, mixed colors for the other 4 and the middle one purple.

    the four squares has red, yellow, purples, oranges and there is different kinds with butterflies, shoes, mice and etc each big square would be different.

    I actually think it would look great, maybe better in some cases, with the big blocks.

    I did mine with 5 inch squares. I'm anxiously waiting for it to return as I type :D
