I think a scalloped edge would look nice. I really don't see a scalloped edge as "casual". Beautiful quilt top and those corner stones are adorable. Good luck and please share with us on your decision.

i've only done it twice. i want to try it again. to me, it's more formal or dresier. it adds to a blah quilt. i did it on my sons white on white, and on a lap quilt for myself, a red and white quilt.
Your quilt is so stunning, personally, i don't think you'll need it. it's a stand alone quilt to m e. very precise and pretty. I love your points too!!!

Thanks, all. I had miscut a few border strips, so I drew the scallops on them and pinned to border....I felt the scallops were fighting with the circles of geese....so I guess decision is made! Waiting for backing to arrive, and I hope to get this quilted and bound so I can move on. It does feel good to have conquered a troublesome pattern!
