It's tacky. Branding has gone too far. If they want to slap product ads on stuff that is disposable, fine, but not on anything I'd want to keep and use.

That would pi** me off royally. I plain wouldn't buy a panel like that as cutting it off would distort the whole picture and I sure wouldn't want to use it with the logo showing.

    I agree
Reminds me of the 60s, a big scarf era.
Designers had huge signatures prominently displayed on their scarfs. I always folded it in such a way as to have the signatures unseen.
Someone advertising on my dollar really offends me.

When I see things like that, it stays in the store. I refuse to be free advertising. No alligators on the polo either.

I bought some camo one time to make my DSIL a flannel shirt and discovered after I bought it that it had a tiny RealTree logo in the design. That doesn't bother me as much as when it SCREAMS its logo. My husband always said he would not wear clothing with "Advertising" on it. I told my kids never to buy him a shirt with a Polo or any other logo on it. I just hate to pay the price they usually want. They should pay US to advertise for them.

I just purchased some autumn leaf fabric at Walmart to make their quilt of the month. Scattered throughout the design for the widest border is the name of the manufacturer.

I will NOT buy anything that has a brand name logo on it, be it clothes, shoes, fabric, t-shirts. I paid for that - not for free advertising. Once it is in my hands and purchased for money, it is mine and no one elses and I will not do the free advertising bit for anyone. Not even free advertising for work that is done on our property. You give us a discount, you can put your sign up. You give me that piece of clothing and I will advertise your brand name. No one should be able to do that, except for the fact that brand names are now more popular than the style, the design, craftsmanship or anything. There, I have vented my spleen on that subject and have wanted to do that one for years!!!!!

    Happy Saturday!!!!!! Edie

Beautiful except for the logo. Can you applique a squirrel ? or something else that would cover it and look good ??

It definitely distracts from otherwise beautiful prints. If I couldn't work around it I wouldn't buy it. I hope this doesn't become a trend.
