    It bothers me to have hst with bias edges. The only way to NOT have bias edges is to cut the strips on the bias. Ech

    it has to have bias edges if it's cut on the sog. i was concerned about that

    I bought this ruler some years ago. It's worth the price when you have a pattern that calls for a lot of HSTs. This ruler makes measuring and cutting a no brainer. Saves my brain cells.

    Eleanor Burns as usual has an easy, quick method and with her triangle square up ruler it only takes one cut to square up a HST. With her method you make 8 squares at a time and none on the bias.
