    I awe and oooh over beautiful quilts all the time. I think the woman ( not lady ) was rude to tell your son he should not do so.

    Same here. Was she just trying to stop the child. If so, shame on her. Who doesn't want their quilts oohed and aahed over?

    I ooh and awe over quilts all the time. My DD comes in to take a look too and then we ooh and awe together :-)

    I awe all the time outloud over quilts or swap blocks when they come in. In my house my Mike when I show him a block I just received or some fabric teasingly says ohhhhh, aweeeeeeee, how pretty!!!!!!!! He knows its a mandatory thing! LOL

    I do the same!!! has anyone said this phrase a little differently (dont know how to spell it ewww?) when seeing a quilt you dont like - Its really embarrsassing when I do it out loud lol cheryl :oops:
