Lots of ohs and wows, not many ahs. If you are a fabricholic like me, and love to see beautiful quilts (there are no ugly quilts) how can you not oh/ah/wow.

I might have written this before, but it is about a beautiful bed sized ugly quilt and "ooo-ing" and "Eeuuwwww" - ing!
It is a light and dark log cabin made by three of us. Two of us think - well, it turned out ugly, although it is well sewn and has a scrappy kind of charming rustic look. (because we are not rustic lovers). This weekend we put it in a quilt sale, but it didn't sell - but everybody who saw it, that I talked to - with their real conviction - Oohed and insisted I was wrong! LOL!
I was astonished they thought it was beautiful - and they were surprised and astonished that I am convinced it is ugly!
It didn't sell... It is going to the 3rd quilter .. It is NOT going home with me! I am not having it in my house!
    Something about it aggrivates me....
    I hope you laughed! - I did!

Would she rather you say you didn't like it. I ooh and aah too if I really like something and I'd br flattered if someone oohed and aahed over my work.

I've never seen a single quilt that wasn't worth at least one awe and ooh.

I agree with you, but then I know people who don't care for all the noise, and you know how our youngs ones can be. They don't stop, sometimes. I've also seen a few obnoxious ones myself that exaggerate or mimic the oohs and ahhhhs.
