after it is washed the fabric will become softer and less sparkley. it is very nice with the colors in the dresdan plate, and the fussy cut center is really great.
you might try walmart.com or try to get to the fabric company website if there is a name in the salvage. i know the walmart BOM fabric has a site and another fabric they carry from 'David' something has a site.

I may be learning something today! I've always avoided "sparkly" and "painting" on fabric because I thought it would easily wash away in the laundry - Am I wrong??
I may have to rethink using these fabrics, I like some of them but was afraid they'd wash away and change the look of the quilt.
Feed back, please. What's your experience with this fabric?
Thanks

I agree. I think it (the sparkly butterfly) takes your eye to the center of the quilt. If you quilt with sparkly thread that will bring your eye back out!

What beautiful colors for a Dresden Plate quilt. I thinik the butterflies are perfect. I have this fabric and I know it feels somewhat stiff, but fussy cut it seems perfect for the center of the Dresden Plate.
