I put the quilt in the washer and then crank up my music and clean up. I clean and oil the machine and put in a new needle. Threads and scraps get swept on the floor and then the floor gets swept and vacuumed. Everything gets put away in its place.....and then I start the next.

I love how you give your doggies a celebratory treat! Since they are our supporters I think they deserve it

I don't do a big celebration but sure have a good feeling of accomplishment. I usually clean up the area and put away tools and fabrics that I used. I take a picture of it and fold up and put quilt away and move onto another project.

I sew quilts mainly for donation and my sewing room is stuffed with donated material so I have to keep sewing fast. When I finish a quilt I dance it into DH's office singing

    Another one bites the dust
    Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
    Another one bites the dust

and let him admire it before it gets packed away for my next quilt meeting. Ya, we have a silly house.

Wow! Your dogs are well-trained. Mine makes me give him a treat even if I don't finish a quilt.....

I confess I do a little happy dance when a quilt is complete ( only in my head though)

I do what I call a miniservice. I clean out all the lint. New needle. Generally just give the machine a once over to make sure all is good. (No dogs to treat. But I bet they appreciate it!)
