maybe your suppose to design the quilt with triangles as the theme.

I dream of sewing also. I had to laugh though when you woke up and didn't have the embroidery machine. :D

I dreamed while awake about an embroidery machine when I saw an ad including a free Kindle and $100 Amazon gift card. I really woke up when I tracked down the price -- $9,000! I already have to live to 120 to use up all my fabric. With that purchase I'd need to live even longer to justify it.

and i thought i was the only one that would be quilting at the age of 120 and the need to justify it

I found that when things in my life were very low & I couldn't sleep, I'd take my mind to a happy place which was always in the middle of my quilt project I was working on. It worked every time.

I keep a journal beside my bed for just such an emergency. Can not let those little ideas go skipping off to la la land. hehe

I just dreamed last night about finding a cool sewing machine at my grandparents house who had passed away several years ago. It was a Juke serger embroiderer machine, it was running and I couldn't turn it off. funny huh.

I don't necessarily dream of my quilts, but they keep me awake a lot of nights. I'll get a plan in mind or just trying to work out a problem and then cannot turn my mind off to go to sleep.

I can't say that I dream about my sewing stuff, but there are times when I close my eyes I see quilt patterns. I keep my eyes open when I'm driving, no blinking.
