I always have a glass of iced tea on the right side of my cabinet. Never an accident in 55 years! (Watch it happen tomorrow!!LOL)

I always have a bottle of diet coke close by. I cant nest the seams into each other without licking my fingers first  makes thirsty.
On a german quilting board someone recomended a glass of champagne before FMQ to get relaxed. It is really very hard to get started with the fear of messing up a top you have been working for days.

I was kind of thinking of having a glass of wine and then trying the free motion quilting thing...I am too tense to do it right otherwise???

Water, diet coke, or sparkling green tea. I don't drink alcohol even when I'm not sewing. I used to but found I don't have very good judgement when I drink.
