    Very hot iron with steam; sometimes spray as well.

    To me, it's not the steam that distorts, but the presser.

    Same here! I have an old Black and Decker travel iron that has a stainless steel bottom. If it gets "stuff" on the plate, I clean it with Dow bathroom cleaner and one of the non-stick, blue scratchers while still warm. Magic sizing doesn't stick like starch or leave flakes on the fabric.

    I use steam and Best Press. I love Best Press, but it makes me cough. I have tried several "flavors" and they all make me cough. I tape a kleenex over my nose and mouth, it helps. I hate to stop using it, but I think I should.

    I usually fingerpress first then PRESS (not iron) the seam.
