Yes, I have gotten tired of lots of quilts I've made, but I am always delighted when I'm finished and amazed at how good it looks with the quilting completed. It may not be my favorite, but I'm still pleased and glad I persevered to the end!! Good Luck on the journey to the finish line!

I love making blocks, but then I seem to get bored and set them aside and start a new quilt. So, I have many blocks sewn that just need to be sewn together or sashed and sewn. Once in a while, I'll grab a set of blocks and finish them. Then it seems to go really quickly. I just got done making 19 applique houses and 1 heart and put it together with the pattern and set it aside and now I'm appliqueing snowmen and stars for a new quilt. I love applique.

I try not to think about how much I have to do. I listen to books on tape while I hand quilt - if I get a good one, I don't care how long the quilt might take. It's also a good time to think about the next quilt.

And sometimes, I feel lost when I'm finished!

I hand quilted a large sampler quilt about 15 years ago. It took me so long to get it finshed, I forgot what I had quilted on the bottom border that I had rolled up. I said, "never again" and I have done smaller ones since then but no more large ones.

That's why I work on several things at once!
