I usually follow patterns, but sometimes I make up my own. Some are now UFOs! I'm not that good at it. Right now I'm enlarging a wall haging to fit on a queen. easier to follow a pattern.

I am completely incapable of making anything with a pattern that doesn't end up having "Kelly Flavor" added in. I have the same problem with sewing other patterns also . I guess that comes from being taught to sew by a depression era quilter. 'Make do' is my official mantra!

I'm a visual type of person if I can see it I can do it, but I will use
a pattern if it is simply to make, are a pattern that I need the appliqué template . Other then that I wing it. :D

For the life of me, I can't seem to take a pattern and follow it exactly....I either don't like the size or the placement....well, any pattern I use, I modify.
