    I will take a pattern and modify it to my liking. Have not been brave enough to do a large quilt from scratch...YET!

    I quilt like I cook - pretty much make it up as I go along. Fortunately the results are mostly acceptable :-)

    Yea most of the time I can not follow a pattern except maybe for a block or two.

    Yes, I do it all the time. Rarely do I find a pattern I am 100% happy with.
