Yep. Here's a question for you--do you find threads in your bed? My sewing room is also my bdrm and one set of sheets seems to attract all the loose threads even with bed made!

I love the saying and have been wanting to make a little sign of it for years: You can always tell a quilter by the threads she wears.

    Dear joysewer,
I love your recommendation for a sign. If you don't mind I'm going to ask my buddy who works on wood to make me a sign for my sewing room.

Yes, in fact I leave the house and where ever I go friends are removing stray threads from my clothing. I remove thread ends as I sew but they still stick with me. Worse I find them on the stair carpeting as I leave my sewing room. Good news is I hang out with quilting friends who have a "similar" problem.

Checking for threads is officially my husbands job. He loves checking for threads.

I check as I walk out the door of home, walking in the door at work and see them often in my car.........such a sad point of discovery at every turn.

Everyone I know, knows I am a quilter so I don't worry about threads! If they don't know me, I don't care what they think!
