Some people are just not great at sewing a 1/4 ", even with a 1/4 " foot.

I have a 12 inch and a 6 inch and I love them both and use them all the time. Especially when you are piecing together small intricate blocks.

The middle line is your cutting line, and the ones on each side are your sewing lines. You can call it micromanagement if you want, but all my points matched on my last quilt.

I bought a set...sure seemed pricy to me. I don't use them much, like someone else said...one line is plenty just make sure you know what setting on your machine will give you a true scant 1/4

I have the 12" and love it! Use it all the time. :) I can use it for several different sizes. Mine is the blue one with the open slots in it.
