I just make my own, using 2-3/4" strips of fabric, join them with diagonal seam, fold in half, press and ready to go. I would not waste the money. Just how I am.

I have it, I love it, I recommend it. Well worth the money for me. I was spending lots on unmatching bias tape in the packages...Now I can match my quilt fabric!

I have one and use it when I have quilter's block. I make yards of binding until my mood changes. It works great. There are a few tricks and tweaks you will figure out the more you use it. I use the 2 1/2 binding foot on mine.

Thanks for posting this, CraftyBear. I got one of these bias-tape makers for Christmas and, I'm sorry to say, haven't had the chance to use it. I wasn't that familiar with it so it was a total surprise to receive it. I'll be watching this thread to see if I have a wonderful new tool on my hands, or another potential dust-catcher!

I have one also and love it. Don't get the cutter, though, it's really hard to use and limited in the widths it cuts. Took mine back. (this was the original small one, I have heard the new $200 one is better)
