I have old Quilter's Newsletter magazines from 1970 through 1984. I don't want them any more. Do I throw them in the recycling bin?

Donate to Goodwill or some other type of thrift store for people like me who would think that is a goldmine!

You can do that. Or donate them to a senior center, nursing home, or quilt guild. Some here may want them, and if they are willing to pay postage, it's a positive thing for everyone.

lots of places to donate---no point sending them to a recycle center- or the land fill.
goodwill, salvation army, st. vincent de paul, challenge mountain, the women's resource center, the senior center, an assisted living place, a long term care facility, the local guild....just to name a few

I think there are still quilter's who collect all the issues. If you type up a list, you might find someone who is looking to fill in missing issues. I inherited hundreds of issues when my sister lost her battle with colon cancer and found homes for almost all of them.

Or you could sell them at a yard sale. I bought dozens of them that way

If you're just wanting to get rid of them, I'd off them here for the cost of postage. Whatever's not taken donate (thrift store, nursing home, etc.)
