Yes! Sometimes I just like to turn my mind off and just sew.

yep..happens to me all the time..sometimes i make simple block type quilts that i dont need to think out..and after a few of those i am so bored that i actually look for a very challenging quilt..needless to say after that i need something simple again..round and round i go..this goes for sewing too..sometimes i can sew for hours everyday starting a bunch of new tops..other times i cant sew at all and it may be weeks..i quit trying to understand it all..i just do what i feel like..

I do have to take on some small projects because I get really burnt out hand quilting. By the way I love this picture with the snowmen, my favorite.

I can do challenging ones, but sometimes, I just want to sew in a straight line with no thinking involved, so I work on my postage stamp quilts.

Yes, sometimes I need a simple one too. I just finished the center of a very complicated one. I have to add the borders yet and then I will do something very easy to give my brain a break.

I'm in that phase right now. Doing a scrap quilt as easy as I can make it. We all hit the wall now and then.
