I have made them using bowtie blocks. 4 of them going in a circle and adding a dimensional bow.

I found a few. I haven't made any of them so I don't know how easy they are.

A log cabin block wreath is quick and easy to do. You make four all green blocks with a red center, four half green and half white with a red center and one all white block. I don't have an exact pattern but it shouldn't be too hard to make one up.

scissorqueen....

I love that wreath........and you're right, it shouldn't be too hard to make. any log cabin pattern would do, just change the colors....

great idea for a quickie gift ...or for one's self !!!!

Scissorqueen I love it! I just wish I could do a log cabin. Yes, I know they are supposed to be easy, but for some reason I can not figure them out! Isn't that crazy? hahaha

Ok, it is time for Eleanor Burns to teach you to make a log cabin quilt.
This was how she started out. Go to Amazon and type in Eleanor Burns Log Cabin. Scroll down and look for your best deal and buy. It is called
Make a Quilt in a Day-Log Cabin. You can also buy her log cabin wreath pattern.
