There is even a quilt shop that specializes in that "look." I think it is beautiful. Enjoy!

I have never understood why anyone would pay big money for a piece of furniture that looks like it's worn out. That's what I already have for heaven's sakes!!!

I'm not sure I really know what "shabby chic" means. But...what I think it means is pale, washed out florals.
Maybe someone will 'splain it to me.

I looked and still don't get what's "shabby" about that look. Tons of white, and the prints are all pastel and rather provincial. Maybe I'm just dense...

I didn't know it was a trademark either. One of my magazines has a quilted cushion cover and matching tablerunner in what they call shabby chic. The colours are quite bright, not muted, although mostly florals. Both are lovely.

I shop at a little quilt shop and their decor is shabby chic. They also have alot of fabric that is perfect for the look. You can look at pictures on their website, www.thesewingboutique.com. I am not affiliated with the shop in any way just like shopping there.
