like you, I didn't at first, but I've seen others do such cute things with it. Have to keep an open mind, but I doubt I'll ever buy the fabric. I'm attracted to many other things first.

I like chevron quilts, but not chevron fabric--not sure why, except it bothers my eyes. Kind of like optical illusion quilts--I think they are fascinating in how they fool the eye, but I couldn't live with one.

I think that fabric will have to grow on me, but then I didn't like 30's reproduction fabric when I first saw it and now am a big fan. I wonder if they'll just be a fad or if they will become a mainstay ..... only time will tell. I've been trying to mix them with polka dots and florals but still struggling.

My thoughts exactly! I love the quilts, but the fabrics just mess with my eyes (much as some stripes and polka dots do). A chevron pattern is on my bucket list.

This is what I was thinking as well.

In the 70's I taught myself to crochet while my husband was attending a University. I made an chevron style afghan for everyone in my family, seven of them. When I saw that chevron fabric being rolled out for sale I shuttered. I was tired of it before it even came out, it would be a cute backing for a quilt though.

no. i am increasingly disenchanted with both the "modern" colour story and the cutsey wootsey, slap dash quick pieced quilts.

I do not care for them but have seen clothing and quilts made in the Chevron patterns that looked great.

Hmmmm. On second thought, chevrons might just grow on me! Here are the phone cases I've made so far. Wish I'd ordered two of the charm packs so I would've had two of each print.
