I think that beautiful BuzzinBumble Kaffe quilt with the diamonds is (DEFinitely not de-Kaffe love your pun) really gets a kick from the chevrons. My experience of them in LQS was just the plain white, plain color. Wow!

Now I get the border idea, duh, Sue. I would definitely do it to heat up a Swoon quilt - border and maybe do a fussy-cut cornerstone thing. Hmmm.

I too, like Chevron quilts but the fabric not so much. Having said that, those phone cases are adorable as is that cute little dress. I could see me making that dress for some sweet little girl.

Love your idea, Jan. By itself, I am not crazy about the chevrons but now, you have planted a seed in my brain.

I saw this twister quilt that was made with chevron and dot fabric and thought it was so cheerful. I'm thinking of making my little neighbor (almost like a grand child) one.

I am not a fan , I find it restrictive since the cutting requires the print to be on grain ( many are not printed on grain) , or the pieces will look like they are sewn wonky.

I guess there are cute things you can make with them if you work at it hard enough, but personally I am sick of seeing them in every other ad and in the stores. It's time to move on, I think.

I do... I think in small doses they add a lot of interest like on the phone cases. I totally love pieced chevron quilts out of scrappy HSTs.

Haven't used chevron fabric but am making a quilt in the chevron style for my daughter. Got the top done need to sandwich and quilt it. I would post a picture but can't seem to figure out how to do the resizing thing or whatever it is that's not working for me. The chevron style is very popular now and I do like it.
