Do You Like to Sew Quilt 'Kits'?
#81
My avatar was a kit and I had plenty of fabric and enjoyed making it. A couple of the fabrics were the same print only in another colorway which I wouldn't have done if I had picked them out. There's only been one kit that I had a problem with and it was from a LQS but I did get it finished. Right now I'm working on a paper pieced Jacqueline de Jong pattern that I bought a kit for through Everything Quilts on line. One thing nice about their kits is that you can choose what and how much you want.

The only quilt kit I bought was the Back to Nature from Hancocks of Paducah and it did not tell you how to cut the fabric so Im scared that I will waste fabric and come up short. At least it is batiks so can always buy more fabric at the store.
I bought the kit because as a block of the month it was a fortune to pay. The kit was expensive enough.
