I always listen to a playlist on my iPod connected to speakers. Anything from soundtracks from Broadway shows or movies to oldies from the 50's or 60's. Also Folk music from the 60's. Then there are my favorites Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John and Phil Collins.

I listen to audio books. I get them at the library for free. You can also go on the library site and order the books you want and they will get them from other library's in the area.
    It is great.

(The Tillers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Iris Dement, John Prine, etc.) When I move on to more contemporary quilt styles, I'll put on some Coltrane, or Brubeck, a 1930's style quilt, Billy Holiday, the Duke. What do you like to listen to?

I have a wide range of music in my collection. Anything from the top 10+ since the 60's, some country, some classical, really good groups that don't sit on the prime time play list...Mraz, Dave Matthews, etc., to relatively unknowns...Annie Haslam, Mike and Suzie Quatro, David Blue, etc

I've been listening to Pandora lately and I love it! I get so sick of the radio. It's all the same stuff over & over again.

We always have the radio on at the shop. Kevin likes country, which is okay for a while until they start playing the same sets over and over....so....when he leaves for an errand, I quick switch it over to the classic rock 70s/80s station. Nothing like a little Boston or Bruce Springsteen to get me humming and grooving while quilting

Not very often, but when I do it's usually KLove...which is Christian music. Or sometimes I will put on a CD of Motown. Mostly I like peace & quiet, and when it's warm enough to have the windows open I love listening to the birds, the neighborhood sounds of kids playing & lawn mowers.

I usually listen to classical music. I never learned to appreciate music from the 50's and on to more recent music. It somehow bothers my concentration. But let me put Bach or Handel on and I am in heaven.

Sometimes I enjoy the quiet and sometimes the soft easy listening music. I don't want the music or the lyrics to intrude in my focus our thinking. I really love quiet.

I love to quilt while Golden Girls reruns are on. I have probably seen every episode, but the dialogue always makes me laugh.

now why didn't I think of that? I am trying to learn to speak Italian and that would be an opportune time to play the lesson CDs. I almost always have music on (especially when housecleaning).
