Do you make quilts for Charity, and
#12
If you can't removed the smoke order from some of your fabrics how about using them to make some doggie pads for your local animal shelter? I try to 'match' my fabrics in cotton or drapery weight for the top and bottom and piece leftover batting for the insides. I sew a big X to keep the batting down, fold over the backing to the front and zig zag it down. Quick and easy but so appreciated by the shelters. Most sizes are 36 x 36 but you could check with the shelter on the sizes of their cages. Usually the doggie pad goes with the animal when it is adopted. May in Jersey
