Oh, and a lap quilt I just found in my pictures that was done from antique blocks found in an auction box...lots of hand embroidery on the old blocks.
UPDATE:.. the pix of the queen size one above--with the gingham sashing.....I was just finishing the quilting of it when a good friend called to tell me her daughter's apt bldg caught fire while Kelli was at work. Her apt was a total loss--everything-- even the floor fell thru to the bottom apt. Anyway, she had lost her granny's SBS quilt along with everything she owned. Even her toothbrush. So I started her housekeeping again with this quilt. It was not important to me--I can always do another when I stop grieving for Kelli.

Since I'm new at this, I'm not sure if my last post made it! Anyway, do you know who this pattern is by or where I can find the pattern? I love this!

Yes, I have made a couple of quilts using EB of QIAD book. They really are fun to dress up with appliques and lace.

Looks like Sunbonnet Sue and Sam can be addictive.

I love your quilts they look really pretty, I have never made one myself because I let a friend barrow my book but when I get it back I am planning on making one. I saw a video the other day of a lady that made one but she blew up the pattern. She shows how she made and if you want you get the pattern to make one one too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sK1-r1rmeJk

Could anyone tell me the name of this pattern? This is one of the nicest sun bonnet sue patterns that I have seen! Sorry it's the 108 post. Thank you.

I like to make the SunBonnet Sue block where she is being bad. So far I have not knocked her off, but, the Quilt Police came after her and the Hand of God struck her down for touching a quilt at a quilt show.

I know this is an old thread, but I would love to know more about this pattern in post 108. It would be perfect for a baby girl!
