I guess I am to cheap to pay $4.00 for a pair of underwear. I am thinking of making my own. Do you make your own ? Do you have any tips on making them?

That's one item I've never wanted to do.

Having raised all girls, I'm immune to underwear sticker shock. I can't stand to wear cotton panties, they seem to cling to the clothes instead of me. I doubt I can sew the nylon stuff to look good and the flat elastic trim for waist and leg openings would cost as much as buying the panties. I find a sale on underwear I like and stock up.

Nope, I buy mine. I guess I'm an underwear snob because I buy Victoria Secret brand. They don't ride up on me, are soft all the time. I ONLY buy them on sale and when people ask me what I want for birthday/Christmas, I tell them underwear lol

No, but mine are always too long in the stride, so I turn down the elastic and stretch stitch it down. Instant custom fit on cheap (Target or Walmart) underwear!

I decide long ago that pretty underwear made me feel good all over. It still does. I love matching panties and bras. When we used to wear "slips" they matched too! I could never make a bra to fit and there's just something about homemade panties........

I did at one time...back when we had a house full of girls...it was OK, but I prefer to buy them now. Gotta admit that panties are easy to make but bras are a royal pain. Regardless, I'd rather be quilting.
