My only machine with a name is my featherweight, Quiltie. I named her that because everyone here seems to name their Featherweights and I only use Quiltie for piecing quilt blocks, thus her name of Quiltie.

I have an sewing machine, an embroidery machine and now a quilting machine. I never thought to give them names. I remember when I was a child I did name my bike "Bess". I have NO idea why. Then my turtle was named "Pudgy". You are bringing back memories. lol

My FW is named "Millie" because it seemed appropriate for a machine born in 1948. My Janome Jem Platinum is "Opal", the Brother machine is just Brother, and my Kenmore I've recently named "Mr Ken More", since it's an old work horse and doesn't deserve a feminine name. I got it in the 70's and it weighs a ton. That's why I bought Brother.

My PE-770 embroider machine doesn't have a name. I never thought about naming it.
