These are some creative quilt names! May we please see the quilts that go along with them? Photoes, anyone?

If no photoes available and the quilts have been given away (as we usually do) can you at least tell us the name of the quilt you use as your avatar? Some of those are spectacular.

Okay Ill bite, but here are just a few of them........

The "Proud Mary" was a replica of my MIL's last quilt she did before she passed away in the 70's before I met my wife. It was my way of getting to know her and to finally meet her.

THAT is one "SPECIAL" quilt. It is amazing. You have some great talent.
I make up a story for my grands when I make them a quilt. Unfortunatly, watching them all day, only gives me Sunday to quilt. I am way tooo tired when they leave; but not too tired to read the board & see all that talent.
    Thanks so much for sharing.

    Love this thread . . . I'll give it a go . . .

*Jar quilt from "Jars Aplenty" pattern, I named "Plenty-Full".
*Quilt made for our little travel trailer spot "Postage Stamp Paradise"
*Attic Windows wall hanging made for DH named "Islands in the Stream" (still needs hanging sleeve and binding)
*Wedding quilt wall hanging for DD & DSIL named "My Heart's Home" from words in their wedding vows (hearts on the quilt, of course).
*Quilt made with a friend for her bed . . . she named "S & Ds' Garden of Love" (The "S" is her first initial and the "Ds" are for my first initial and her DH's).
*"Warm Wishes" quilt made for veterans . . . liked the name Warm Wishes, so just kept it.
*Hot Air Baloon wall hanging made for friend's wedding named "Balloonist's Prayer" with the prayer printed on the label.
*"Animal Crackers" made for DGD from quilt pattern of the same name.
*"Bride's Tree" wall hanging made with cross-stitch Bride's Tree motifs for DD#2's wedding (someday :) )
*"Guten Appetit" table topper for DD#2
*Wickedly Easy king size quilt named "Unchained Melody"

That's all I can tink of right now. Pictures of most of these have been posted here if you want to do a search.

I've read so many posts this morning that I got them mixed up and listed some of my quilt names under the post about current projects, but here are some more: Pieces of My Heart Country Roses #1 and #2; Blue Girl, Bird on A Wire #1 and #2; Ice Princess; Prom Queen; Fun In The Park; Whistle While You Work; Which Way Is Up; Gobble, Gobble, Gobble; And Little Boys Are Made of...; Red Bird, Blue Bird, 1 Bird, 2 Birds; I Wooly, Wooly, Love You; Awakening; A Quilt is History.

I started keeping a quilt journal 5 years ago when I began quilting so that is how I remember all the names. I have made 153 so far and have machine quilted about 75 of them.

I, too, find the art background fosters the naming of the art produced. All my quilts are named/titled, most frequently during the design process before needle ever hits fabric. They include Away We Go, Welcome to My World, Arizona Sunrise, City Sister, Nutmeg and Mace, ...And Red all Over, For the Love of Meg, and Blue Ridge Reverie. Other than my art, I do not name things that stand no chance of ever coming when called.
