They need to know. It's up to them if they do anything about it. But I also know some young people don't know how many inches are in 1 yard. Sad, but true.

yes, they need to know. Keep at it, but if you get NO response within a week, then take it to the CC company. File a dispute with the charges AND then contact the BBB for the town that company is in!

That will wake the owner up!

I do hope you get this resolved in a pleasant way and soon!

calculating your 8 short yards by 2" and the two yards by 1 1/2"..
comes to over 1/2 yard shortage.

If you do not need those extra inches on each of those yards, I would ask for a refund for 5/8 yard plus the $5. overage on postage.

If all fabric is needed, then I would ask for new fabric and postage for returning the incorrect material.

There's no reason for you not to get what you are paying for.

Can you just imagine how much money could be made if each customer was shortened a few inches?

That's not a very good track record...8 of them short!

    Absolutely!!!!

I could understand one being short... perhaps a mistake. But all of them???? Sounds intentional to me. Multiply that mistake for each customer.... they could certainly turn a better profit. Just sayin'. ;-)

A yard is 36". If you were following a pattern, 34" would not do the job. I'd definitely keep after them.

You deserve to get the full yardage. I would insist they replace it with the correct measure. Sounds like someone doesn't know how many inches are in a yard!

    Ditto.

By the way - a reasonable tome to hear back from the manager, if the clerk gave them the message, is within 24 hours. If a weekend, first thing Monday morning.
