    ...with a walking foot?

I mean, when you first sew it to the front, I'll be hand-sewing it to the back.

    Or does it matter?

I do use a walking foot. I find that it keeps the layers from shifting. Try it both ways and see which you prefer.

I always use my walking foot. I always machine sew on the front and hand-sew on the back.

I do. I figure it is more layers than quilting and I always use a walking foot for quilting.

I absolutely use a walking foot. I find it makes a huge difference when sewing through so many layers.

I use a walking foot too. I think it's easier.

I've never even tried it with a walking foot - just never had problems with it moving around on me.

However - I stay-stitch right up close to the edge with my longarm while quilting, so that is probably the main reason I don't have the layers moving around on me.

I use a walking foot, but machine sew binding on the back, then on the front.
