Both. I love to hand applique but I'm not good at hand quilting. Better at machine quilting and it goes so much faster.

I quilt by hand & machine quilt. The quilt speaks to me for how I will quilt it.

I do both. I like to hand quilt because it is relaxing and machine quilt when I need something quick.

Both, but I prefer machine piecing and quilting.

I enjoy both. For relaxation I hand quilt but when I'm in a time crunch I machine quilt.

Depends on the project for me. My hexagons are going to be hand quilted, and same with my Dear Jane. Other things are good for machine quilting.

By machine! Nine months after learning to piece quilts I bought a longarm and quilt for myself and others. Quilting on my Innova is my favorite part of the whole process! I love custom quilting the best, all hand-guided.

Piece by hand, sometimes by macine. Perfer the hand piecing.I don't machine quilt my quilts---I would be insane if I did this. soon as I get unpacked after 2.5 years, want to send a couple to Charisa. She does such beautiful work.
