I'm retired so I usually sew when my DH is golfing so I can spend time with him when he is not golfing. If I'm trying to get a project finished then I'll sew non stop.

I'm a nightowl!! Even though I work full time, I will sew until around 2:00AM. Just never have needed much sleep.

That's a wonderful, constructive use of your late hours when you can't sleep. Probably one of the best things you cand do for yourself as well.

I quit off and on day and night. I REALLY have to be in the mood to machine quilt. That's when I have to rip out seams. But hand quilting any time. If DH is watching something on TV that I don't care about I put on my mp3 player that I have downloaded books from our library and either hand piece or hand quilt. After being married to me for 54 years he is use to me "playing with thread and strings"

I'm I the only one who gets quilting burnout from time to time? I love all kinds of quilting projects, but once in awhile I have to say enough already and take a week or two off.

I quilt in the day time when it is sunny outside. I have a cataract in my left eye and it is easier for me to do it this way. Sometimes I have a difficult time threading the needle and the light helps a lot.

I am now paper piecing and making some hexagons by hand.

I hope to hear back from all of you quilters around the world.
