I'm sitting here giggling quietly because in my family, no one could use a scissors on Sunday. NO ONE could ever explain that to me and my friends have never heard of it - so WHERE did it come from? And until someone can give me a good reason not to, I'll keep sewing!

LOL That's so funny! My Mom used to say the same thing! She also said "Anything started on Friday, will never be finished." Like you, I hear her words whenever I start something on Friday or sew on Sunday. :)
