Do you quilt on Sunday?
#201
My Grandmother did not quilt but she crocheted and she did this on Sunday afternoon and ever other day of the week. She loved to crochet baby bibs, shoes, caps and sweaters. She had them in 3 different stores. She never told me not to sew on Sunday but she did teach me and took me to church Sunday morning Sunday night and Wednesday night and I still go. Quilting is something I can do and talk to the Lord at the same time and I don't have a problem with doing it on Sunday. My Grandmother raised me, my mother was killed in a car wreck when I was 2 1/2 years old.

I often sew baby quilt top kits from the quilters at church on Sunday. Sometimes I work on a warm hugs (donation) quilt.
I don't consider these work. As I grow older I have developed a different perspective about keeping the Sabboth. I think the best Sunday afternoon activitiy is getting together with other quilters and sewing. This is fellowship, not work.
